WholeHealth Chicago is the center for integrative medicine. Integrative medicine is a growing field in which the patient and provider work together to develop a diagnostic and therapeutic program that makes sense for the individual.
WholeHealth Chicago combines the discipline of modern science with the wisdom of ancient healing.
If you’re miserable from menopause symptoms, give serious thought to hormone replacement therapy (HRT). You may not realize it, but a diabetic using insulin is using hormone replacement therapy, with the hormone insulin. Taking Synthroid for an underactive thyroid is hormone replacement, too. Is there a problem with replacing your sex hormones, estrogen and progesterone, when you’re suffering because their levels have gone into the free-fall of menopause? The short answer is “no.”
WholeHealth Chicago practitioners rely on the best evidence-based medicine and individualize a treatment plan that may include one or more types of treatment, diagnostic testing, natural and pharmaceutical therapies, as well as referrals to other practitioners.
Dr. Edelberg, board certified in Internal Medicine in 1974, began incorporating alternative therapies into his practice during the 1980’s.
Since founding the parent company of WholeHealth Chicago in 1993, he has become nationally recognized as one of the pioneers of integrative medicine, a new specialty combining conventional medicine with alternative therapies.
Author of numerous articles and editor of five books on integrative medicine; look for his latest book, “The Triple Whammy Cure” (Free Press, January, 2007).
In addition to Dr. Edelberg, we have assembled an outstanding group of physicians and practitioners at WholeHealth Chicago, men and women who are leaders in their fields of expertise.
Each practitioner has many years of experience and is dedicated to the integrative healthcare model at our center. Time to get relief!
